Bubbles! I got her mini a few months ago and I love her. I kinda wish they'd kept that darker pink, but I'll probably get her anyway. The watermelon one is cute, too. I need to catch up on the minis. I haven't gotten any lately and I want the full-size Strings, too.

Excited for you! But not so much for the dolls Is this the direction they're going? Cheaping out not only on the pets but every doll has molded clothes?

Didn't they lower the price on these? Not as far as I've seen I could have sworn they used to be $30 but lately they have been around $20.

I'm not a huge fan of the molded tops either, but am starting to see where they work on certain characters, and for these two, I'm actually okay with them. (Not sure we'd be changing their fashions much anyway, I guess is what I mean.) And I don't think this necessarily means they'll go with molded tops on ALL these core dolls. Last year, it ended up being kind of a mix of the molded tops & the complete fashions, depending on what worked for the character. So we'll see.
And yeah ... at least around where I live, the price for the core dolls without pets, is only $19.99 vs. how they always used to run $25-$30 when they did include pets. But maybe the prices vary, not totally sure.
There will be a new line of the large dolls beginning this year too, which is the "Doll with Accessories" line, and these will include a large doll along with 5+ additional accessories to go with her theme. The first two in this line are Crumbs and Rosy. I'll be able to share photos of them soon. I imagine their price point will be a little higher, but I actually need to find out about that!

I would love it if MGA would just sell the pets by themselves. MH just released a line of pet vinyls after all.

Wardah That's a cool idea! Is the MH pet line the same scale as the ones that came with the dolls?

Wardah That's a cool idea! Is the MH pet line the same scale as the ones that came with the dolls? They are a bit bigger. They are closer in scale with the 17in dolls. While I wouldn't mind if individual Loopsy pets were the same scale as came with the dolls, I would really like if they were about midway between Mini and full sized.

Wardah Right... I think that's a really cool idea for Lalaloopsy. They could even do them in little 2-packs or something, to go along with the releases of the new dolls. Seems like something a lot of fans would like.

I would totally buy separate pets. I don't have space for a ton of the big dolls, so I'm pretty selective, but pets? I'd buy 'em.

The photo on the backs of the boxes of the Water Mellie Seeds & Bubbles Smack 'N' Pop dolls shows more upcoming dolls for 2016. Looks like we will be getting a large Cake Dunk 'N' Crumble and a re-release of Pillow Featherbed in a new outfit...

Congrats for the Lalaloopsy ambassador program.
The dolls are sew beautiful. I havn't gotten one with molded clothes yet, I don't like them as much, but who knows I'm usually surprised by their products.

Yeah, we really wish they would go back to all-fabric outfits, too. Banana is the type of kid who really did enjoy changing the clothes on her Lalas - she loved the fashions packs, etc. But the characters with the molded tops are still cute, so we've not given up on them completely. And they do always include cute detailing on the molding ... but yeah, definitely prefer all-fabric outfits!

I`m right there with most, not a fan at all of the molded clothing, and have not bought any with it since they started that. I do like Bubble as she is, as she is very unique, with that I MAY consider her, but still not thrilled. I have to agree I also miss the pets SO much! I enjoy what I have of the older dolls when they were the entire package. I would not blink at paying $25 if they would add the pets back in, they just seem so plain to me now, I miss the way they used to be, I don`t think I would have looked twice at these dolls had they started them out this way.

I don't bother with the large dolls but I wish we got Mellie and Bubbles' pets in a larger size.

Looks like we will be getting a large Cake Dunk 'N' Crumble and a re-release of Pillow Featherbed in a new outfit... I just don`t get it I guess. Why re-release Pillow AGAIN, we have had her twice already. Why not take those cute PJs and put them on a new Lala sculpt with a new name? I will say, at LEAST they are not molded, but still feels like a waste on a repeat doll. I have a better idea MGA (if you read these). How about remaking Dot, with different hair color and put her in these jammies with a different name?

Here's the official announcement of the re-release Pillow. She's cute, but I agree with you carrielittle - would have been amazing to see a new version of Dot instead! Or at least maybe a give Pillow a new hairstyle like the Super Silly Party girls got. I'm glad no molded clothing though, and lala-love those jammies!! I was a little surprised to see they're saying she comes with "new accessories" ... I had thought she was going to be part of the basic line, not part of the large dolls with accessories line. Excited to see what her accessories are going to be!! http://instagr.am/p/BA0RyObxEsu
