Hi, I was so thrilled to find this message board to learn more about the LOL Surprise dolls. My kids are no longer into Lalaloopsys and have interests in LOL Dolls and My Little Pony figures and toys. As a treat for great work in school, we allow the kids to select a toy under $10. once per month. They love the LOLs but haven't been lucky enough to find too many. Grandparents and aunts and uncles have also acquired some to give as birthdays and treats when they visit.
Hopefully the second wave of Series I will be available soon. We call Walmart, Target and TRU once a week. They have been out since the end of January. We had seen them around Christmas but the kids were not interested at that time. When we get one for each of the two girls they became "hooked" and now they ask every week if the LOLs are back in the stores. We actually go and check. So I am excited that they are starting to appear in places but so far not in our area.
I also have to say that my girls love the banana videos on youtube! Especially the unwrapping of the balls. That is a great resource and how climactic when you get one that is desirable.
We have not found any babies in our area, but we also haven't been buying them for long so do not know how many boxes were sold before we started. The ones that we have not gotten are Hoops MVP, Glitter Queen, Queen Bee, Cosmic Queen, Glitter Queen, Rocker, Leading Baby, Miss Baby and Teacher's Pet. We have not gotten any of the babies. So the hunt will be on and eventually I will turn to eBay to get the missing "rarer" ones. My girls have gotten few duplicates as there were not available. Thanks to family members who have been buying them for us.
I know I am very wordy today, but I am so thrilled to have found this site. I wish the LOLs would come in smaller packaging, those balls take up a lot of space - LOL!
