Went to my daughter's school Valentine's Day Party, then came home for lunch, naptime, and now the girls are playing in the playroom - very low key!

Unfortunately by getting into a car accident with 3 other cars on the highway! Nobody hurt bad, so that was good ... But it made for a Valentine's Day that will definitely be "memorable"! LOL

My wife went to court and I spent a few hours trying to make my computer usable. I just got a new one and I HATE Windows 7, so it hasn't been an easy transition for me.
Sorry to hear about the accident, bananasmom! It's a good thing there weren't any serious injuries!

Thanks you guys!
Don't worry, zt ... Windows 7 will become more intuitive for you the longer you use it. I hated it at first too, but now it feels natural to me.

Well, the thing about Windows 7 is that everything takes extra steps. I used to be able to do everything in a couple of clicks and be done. And now everything takes three times as many clicks and then I'm not even satisfied with the result. For instance, switching to thumbnails in a folder used to be one click. Now, I have to go to Tools > Folder Options, uncheck a little box, and then close the window. Then I have to resize all of the files so I can actually see the images. When I'm done, I have to undo everything because thumbnail mode affects the whole computer, and then I have to resize the files again because I don't want massive icons. And to make matters worse, they don't have the normal icon size, so I have to fiddle with the slider to get them right. That's not even the worst example. Everything in this OS requires more work just to do something simple. They did the exact same thing to the Xbox (don't even get me started on that one). Everyone keeps telling me that I don't like it because it's new, but if that was the case, I would've hated XP when it first came out.
