Wow!! Thanks for the behind the scenes look at this work ... so you actually remove part of the hair from one doll and fit it onto the head of another? Do these hold up well when you're finished? Are they durable enough for your daughter to play with? I'm amazed by your work. You're a real artist!!

It hold totally fine as long as you cut it in a way that fit perfectly to the front part ,then all you ll have to do is use some hot glue or crazy glue or both as i do (i use hot glue first then double it with crazy glue ,this make it close to impossible to break it apart)My daughter does more than normal play with those dolls (you ll understand later why i say dolls cuzz i made more than 1 like that )and they hold perfectly fine ,i myself recommend normal play nothing rough cuzz of the painting but she does play rough with her dolls and they hold pretty fine:)

skoiler How did you do the little jello mold for the top of Jelly's head? What is that made out of? Also was wondering what type of paint you use on these? I used a clear cast resin, first i use modeling clay (same 1 the kids play with the 1 that doesnt dry ) to make the mini jelly looking top, then i made a silicone mold from that shaped modeling clay and lastly i cast the clear green resin into that silicone mold. Please dont be impress any 1 can do it i never made a silicone mold or cast a resin before:) . FYI Silicone RTV Mold Making Compound 8oz and Resin Epoxy Easy Cast Clear Casting 8 oz both on ebay ,i think any good hardware store shall have them too. For the paint i use Rust-Oleum of color Gloss Seaside . Any more question it ll be my pleasure to answer.

skoiler Wow, great job on May, right down to the correct skin tone! Did you have to darken the whole overall skin tone of a Scarlet Riding Hood doll, or was it right to begin with? (She seemed a little lighter skin toned to me, but maybe I'm remembering wrong.)
