If they are publicly available listings I don't see why BH can't at least mention where they found them. It's really driving me nuts. I don't want it to be like just all of a sudden one of us finds the stuff in a store.

I don't want it to be like just all of a sudden one of us finds the stuff in a store. It's because MGA is getting strict now about things leaking early. BH posted their opinion about a new doll line (without mentioning specific listings) and they were told to take it down from their Facebook because the post contained images of what the new dolls MIGHT look like. BH has all the Lalaloopsy listings for this fall, but they're trying to get permission from MGA to post them. I don't think they need to seek any permission from MGA about this. Lalaloopsy is not new and MGA had already announced a lot of things for Lalaloopsy already with the 5th Anniversary thing. BH also posted photos of the new dolls on another group and they did not get in any trouble about it.

Wow! Thanks. I think we're most excited about the Girls. I never would have pegged Fuzzy Grrrs-A-Lot as the next Girl; she must be selling pretty well. Prairie is also one of our favorites, so I hope I can find her before my baby girl's birthday. I wonder why they're releasing Cloud E. by herself and another Jewel? It seems like a missed opportunity for new characters.

Okay, MGA is getting on my nerves! If the information BH has is correct, why is there still no Dot and Blossom in the Girls line? Why are they re-releasing Jewel and Cloud E again? Why don't they just release the new girls in a basic line first and then do the gimmicky lines. I haven't gotten any of the Crazy Hair dolls and don't plan on getting them but I want Confetti, Cinder and Scoops. I am becoming super frustrated with this line now and if it continues I may stop collecting.
I honestly see the new Celebration dolls as peg warmers. I think the love for the big dolls is dying slowly, a lot of people are trying to sell what they have now and now they are re-releasing some of the bigs...again, albeit with new hair molds and clothes. Ugh, I don't know, just feeling frustrated with this line.

Blossom I don't really see the big deal. She is just another girl with pink hair.

They were surprised that Sugar Fruit Drops was not one of the new large dolls, because there were a lot of hints suggesting that we would see it happen. It also seems that stores in the US aren't into Lalaloopsy like they were once used to. The market is saturated with dolls that aren't selling, and stores aren't ordering them. Look at all the Walmarts that have no sections for Lalaloopsy anymore and the Targets that didn't order the newest wave of Lalaloopsy Girls. Maybe it's because MGA spent more time on the Bratz comeback and pushed Lalaloopsy and all their other toy lines aside.

This Dot situation is honestly racism. It's not that she is the most unpopular character, because I know many of us love her and lots of families of color love her because she's the only character that many children can relate their skin tone too. Dot's sales weren't as awful as we like to think. So the only reason she won't get her doll would have to be racism (just my opinion- I really want a Dot girls doll!!)

We are just a small segment of the audience unfortunately. Yeah I do think racism has something to do with it but not on the part of MGA but with society. MGA wants to make money so if black dolls don't sell as well as white dolls then unfortunately black dolls don't get made because right now MGA is still reeling from Mattel trying to sue them.

For one, why show the girls in the movie if you have no intention of making them. It seems MGA is falling into the same trap as other companies. Mattel has done this in the past and it is always a failure. They hold out on putting out a certain character to keep the line going. By the time that character comes out, the line is dead and people have moved on. Yes, collectors are a small part of the buying community but Dot and Blossom were in the movie so kids who have seen the movie want the dolls from the movie. I am not telling MGA NOT to make other girls in the line but at least give us the girls that were in the movie first. That just makes sense to me and I am sure to other people too. They know people love Dot, there is always someone on their facebook page asking for Dot so that isn't the issue. It is almost as if they are hoping this line continues to do well and later on introduce a Dot doll to make everyone happy.

It seems like in general store exclusives get to be riskier from a mainstream point of view than standard releases. MH'S Wolf family pack (a 4 pack of beautiful black dolls) was a Walmart exclusive. A MH 2 pack of boy dolls (boy dolls are a hard sell for some reason) was a TRU exclusive. Nightmare Moon, a villain, was also a TRU exclusive. It's like they are willing to bet them being exclusive will sell them anyways. That's why Dot has a better chance being an exclusive than a regular release.
Basic Jewel and Cloud better at least have new outfits.
