Dot Starlight is one of my favorite Lalaloopsy characters. A long time ago, I drew this lineart of Dot and her pet bird:



Then I asked a friend to color the lineart. Here is the colored version:

Aww, your drawing is so kawaii! And your friend did a great job of coloring it in. Dot is one of our favorite characters too. She was actually the first Lala I ever got for my daughter so she has a special place in our heart. I love seeing people's fan work related to Dot, since she's often neglected in the company's official merchandise.

Yeah, it's really sad how Dot has been so neglected by MGA. I'm guessing it's because merchandise of her sells poorly? And if so, then I'm guessing she sells poorly because she's the darkest-skinned character in the series. So dumb and sad.
