I read the discriptiona availible on Amazon, it looks like they will be availible in sets of two,with a new size and look... it's exciting but i hope they don't change the look toatally... i really love the rag doll concept...  |

Updated to add UPC's and Amazon links for the new Style & Swap minis collection with the new "Netflix series" look! Stock images have been added to all of the listings now, so you can get a closer look at all of them. All except Storm E, that is... whose UPC code we've not yet found. Could she be a store exclusive or part of a playset? If anyone has any news, let us know! Also, interesting to note, I've still called them Style 'N' Swap minis in our listings, but technically they no longer use that name on the packaging or in the listing title. They're just called Minis now... |

I hope these sets aren't totally replacing the regular minis. And if they are then I hope MGA is at least smart enough to release some singles with just 1 outfit.

The Amazon listings now have PICTURES! The rooted hair is going to take some getting used to, but Jewel and Crumbs look really pretty and they're not exactly high on my list of faves. Spot is cute, too, but STORM E. I'm in love!  |

venivididolli We were posting at the same time! lol Our absolute faves are Jewel and Storm E. Spot actually looks somewhat odd to us, but hoping it's just the photo... kinda wish they had given her fuller pigtails or something? Crumbs is super cute too. But Jewel and Storm E are definitely the ones we'll be snatching up first!

Yeah, I think Spot's pigtails would look better longer. She just doesn't look quite like her.
I really love the posed arm and bigger flat feet.

no blush, why??? I really don't like that at all.
the other changes are A+, but no blush makes them look weird. the faces seem so plain now and I don't dig it. skipping those new dolls. which... isn't an issue, since I haven't gotten any of the last large ones I want yet.
Jewel's hair is A+ tho.
I'm not a huge fan of the brushable hair since I wouldn't wanna undo the styles and it'd be Not Great if they can easily come undone. so yeah, no interest in those new large dolls.

After seeing the new minis without blush, I was pretty much expecting these girls probably wouldn't have it either. It definitely does make a difference in their faces - Banana says she feels like the girls look a bit older like this... like she thinks of them being somewhere in between their age for the original dolls, and their age as Lalaloopsy Girls. That made sense to me, too. I do hope their brushable hair will be of a good quality, that can actually stand up to some brushing and styling without becoming a total frizzy mess. It might be fun to experiment with some styles if it is decent hair... |

I think I might be done collecting Lalaloopsy. I'm sorry, but these new Lalaloopsy dolls are a big disappointment. The brushable hair looks like it's made of nylon, and they completely changed the logo and packaging. I hope they still have the "old" Lalaloopsy dolls before these new ones take over.  On a positive note, Water Mellie Seeds and Bubbles Smack & Pop FINALLY made it to stores! They're showing up at KMart now. ugh, disappointed in their plain faces!! no blush, why??? I'm not totally surprised since... yeah, the new minis... but I'm a little annoyed. like, not even the airbrush blush? nothing? meh. if the style of new dolls changes permanently to this, my interest in the line will fade away for sure. I don't dig the new flat look at all. it just... doesn't work, and removes a lot of the charm, imo. I know that the Silly Party dolls had the promo art with the airbrush blush, but the dolls still had blush. so yeah, a lil bothered they changed that with these new dolls. I'm keeping an open mind regarding the Netflix series, but the merch for it isn't anything I'm into. |
