Sugar and Spice are the hardest to find, because they're the same rarity as the golds, but there's no easy trick to find them. That's why I'm trying a combo of the flashlight and weight, hoping it works. Spice seems to be in a hot pink ball and I know what she weighs, so here's hoping! I won't know til this afternoon, because I've got to go right to work after returning the first case of balls and grabbing the other. OMG, good luck!! I hope you find her!!  |

 Success! The combo of light and weight test worked! I think someone else was at the case with the light test though, because the missing ball was Splash Queen. Heh. I love Spice so much. I had a rough day at work and man, my feet hurt, but at least my toys put a smile on my face. (I also found almost the entire Enchantimals line at TRU, so extra surprise today!) |

Thanks! I think they're cute for what they are. Definitely great for younger collectors. The basics are only $7.99 on Amazon and $8.99 in TRU, so they're cheaper than a LOL! I'm a sucker for animal themes and I love small dolls. I don't need everything to be super articulated or overly detailed. I'm working on some reviews for them. My girls and I have been looking in our area to get Series 2 LOL Surprise dolls but have not found them anywhere. We are hoping they will arrive to our ToysRUs, Walmart, Target or Kohl's soon. Most of those places still have just restocked the series 1 dolls. Does anyone know if they will continue to run both series at the same time? I look forward to seeing more pictures of the dolls on this forum. My girls loved bananas video! Now they are impatient to find at least one or two! So sorry to hear you guys haven't found any of the Series 2 dolls yet! Have you tried asking your Target stores to check if they have them in the stockroom? Give them the DPCI numbers at the top of this thread and see if they can look them up in the system? I think most Target stores will have them on the shelves by this coming week. I do think they will be phasing out Series 1 entirely. Some stores may still have stock to get rid of though, so we may continue to see them for a while yet. Hope you guys can get some new ones soon! Let me know if I can help. Thank you for the DPCI numbers. We got two of the LIL Sisters and two of the Tots at Target by asking for them by the numbers. Yay! We got Lil Usherette and Lil Snow Angel. We got Honey Bun and Neon QT. Are there pictures somewhere of the LOL Surprise Fizz Factory Play-set, the LOL Surprise Charm Fizz Assortment and LOL Big Surprise? Too bad we couldn't justify buying a whole box, maybe we'll save for one for the end of the summer. Thanks again! |

I managed to buy a whole box of these at the weekend and didn't get a single duplicate! It was such a fun afternoon of opening!!!
My Shorty also was missing her headband/bandana so I emailed MGA customer services about it. They can't replace like for like but will send me out a random series 1 ball instead. I've had to tell them not to do that but we'll see what shows up. Has anyone had any luck just buying accessories off eBay? If in fact any Shorty does come with that headband.

Huh, that's weird. I know several collectors who got replacement headbands without a problem. It's MGAE's fault they're missing, so they should replace it.

I wonder if it's a difference between UK and US customer services departments. I was told that they didn't have access to the dolls or accessories directly and could only offer me a randomly picked series 1 ball as compensation for the mistake. I came away feeling completely disapointed with the service.
I'm going to try and make a little bandana headband out of some ribbon.

LOL Surprise 3 Pack of Balls
We found a plastic tube labeled Series 2 with 3 balls, except that the dolls inside were all series 1. We got Fancy, Fresh and two babies in a ball (little fancy and little fresh?) It was disappointing to get Series 1 dolls in Series 2 packaging. Has anyone seen the 3 pack of balls in a tube? We only found one and it was at my local Target. The UPC code is 3505154930. The only thing I can figure is that they are trying to get rid of their left over Series 1 dolls and package them with the new Series 2 babies. Anyone know anything about this? For 27.99 plus tax I was expecting new dolls. Oh well, I keep saying that I am going to stop buying them at the store and get them on ebay so I can get what I'm missing, but I haven't been able to do that especially since the balls are much easier to find now. They have them at all the stores where we shop, Target, Walmart, Kohl's and ToysRUS.

Yeah, I think the big ones come with their little counterparts. I'll be passing on that. I only need I think 6 regular Lils and the 3 glitter ones, if I even decide to finish my set.
Patiently because I'm broke waiting for Series 2, Wave 2 to hit the US. They sure don't like to ever come here first.

It's just unfortunately the Series 2 Lil Sisters they picked match up with Series 1 Tots. $27.99 is a good deal if for some reason you missed out on Series 1 since individually the Tots are at least $10 each and the Lil Sisters and $7 each. |

She's an ultra rare, and she's supposed to be exclusively available in the LOL Big Surprise ball. If she came in a regular LOL ball, that's a mistake and you guys got really lucky!
