Posing is a bit "challenging" for these dolls, but I love seeing photos of them. I think dolls stands are a good idea, especially if they are concealed.
Some thing I use a lot........clear plastic bands to help dolls hold things. I have also used double-stick tape.

I bought some of the dolls stands at Michaels for $ 1.99 each, I need to get some more too. I think placing them on the dolls stands is the easiest way to display them, having them sit would take more space to display them.
I seen those wall shelves too and those look nice with the Lalas displayed on them.

Can any of you get them to sit up on their own w/o leaning on something? I see pics and they are sitting up themselves...Mine can't do that, they just flop...lol!

I think it depends on the induvidual doll sometimes and what they are wearing.
It seems like my Tippy (how fitting) can't seem to sit up even against a wall most of the time, but I can get my Mittens to stand up on her own against a wall.

Sometimes I wish they had a square part on their bottom so they could sit on their own...rofl!

Yeah! But I suppose that's part of their charm. I love their floppy heads.
I just got stands in the mail today and they are working well for the most part. Some are floppier than others but I'm mostly happy about it.

I used Amazon. Here's the link I got from someone on Facebook. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TP2BE6I'm still deciding how I feel about them, they aren't rock solid or anything, but with their big heads, I don't see this not being an issue with any other stand. I think I'm pretty happy, and they can be used with barbies or my monster high dolls as well so that's a bonus.
