Ha, I just spent the better part of my evening arguing with an 11 year old on the Lala FB fan page. SMH. I have no shame. The girl was really irking me. Anyone else saw it?? Just wondering what the general age consensus is for this message boards? Are we all adults or are there actually kids on this board?? Gosh, if so, I need to find an adults only Lala fan board just to rant about the annoying little kids on the Lalaloopsy FB Fanpage. LOL.

Inkie is right, we are about 90% adults, but we also welcome youngsters. With that said, we also expect EVERYONE to play nice, no profanity, no flaming, etc. Opinion are welcome!

I am 39 and have 5 daughters..
That being said my oldest daughters are on Facebook but they are 18 and 20 years old. As a Mother of younger ones ages 11,10 and 9 years old, I must say I would not allow them to be on any account like Facebook. I do control what my youngest daughters do online, and so I think other parents should control their children's online activities too.
Facebook rules say you have to be 13 years or older to join and obviously many of these youngsters are not 13.
I seen the post last night and just shook my head as no matter what, if you report them or not, they just surface again with another fake name and account...
Anyone remember Nevada Lieberher, or GiGi Lieberher or Nicky Star and there was another fake id also...all the same little girl 11 years old...

Almost all internet sites ask that the members be 13 or older. Some states have that limit set even higher (I forget the ones that do) and yet, many internet sites poorly monitor the activity, facebook included. I really dislike seeing a bunch of kids coming and spamming the fanpage with nonsense and horrible typos and run on sentences and asking for handouts.

I always get a bit of a shock when i see it, almost like "where is your parents?" lol i was raised fairly strickt and I always get shocked when I realise not everyone was/is raised the same. DOn't get me wrong I'm all for expression, but there is a time and a place for everything... on a DOLLS FB fanpage is probably not the right place lol

I don't get it...why let your little kid on FB? lol, no one knows why. I also don't see how they haven't been raised to not act like that, asking for things probably with the assumption a complete stranger will just give it to them...? Not only is the Lalaloopsy fanpage now becoming flooded with little kids, the Monster High fanpage is a complete nightmare. A little disturbing that facebook has yet to regulate things.

Something really is annoying me today! Last night there was a post on the FB fan page about the new dolls and someone said a TRU employee told them to come to the store first thing in the AM because if you don't all the collectors will buy them all up just to resell them...Ummm...if they are reselling them than they are not collectors, right?!?!?! That really irked me...lol

Maybe that's the case daisy but if I go and a buy a Lala I buy the one I need for my collection or I will buy an extra to help another Lala collector out, I wouldn't buy 3 or 4 just to make money, but maybe that's just me? I don't think its the collectors buying up all the dolls I think its just Ebay sellers that are out to make a buck!

I understand what you mean , but this still does not mean that they are not a collector themselves, it just means they are greedy collectors and want to make money of these hard to find dolls too. As you see more people sell them on ebay and of course the rare ones are outrageously priced. I am not one of those ebay sellers ! And I am for sure will not buy any of these over priced dolls on ebay either. Fall will come soon, or old store stock will slowly start to trickle in, as I was able to buy 2 Bea's yesterday from a Toys R Us store for $ 37.48 and now 2 of my girls will finally own a Bea too
