No plans, really. One of my sisters wants to take up guitar lessons and for the most part, we're all just catching up on sleep before the next school year begins. By August, we know we have to look for the Autumn toy releases because that's when they start hitting the shelves. Another of my sisters may be getting a job if the economy is kind to her. I'm hoping to finally feel like writing and being able to keep it going. Apart from all that, nothing too exciting. Which is how I like it, really. I'm not a big fan of heat and sunburns although I dearly wish to tan this year. lol >.>

My summer plans include avoiding this horrid heat & humidity as much as possible! LOL! Its already close to 100 degrees and it is expected to be that and higher tomorrow. Do I have to say how much I dislike summer?

We are going to go on a family trip to the Outer Banks, NC! My parents are renting a house in Rodanthe that is half way between the Sound and the Ocean for them, my family and my brothers' families - 17 of us in one huge house! We've never done a family vacation like that and we are all looking forward to it. In the past 18 months, my father had to have a kidney removed and go through whole brain and stereotactic brain radiation treatments to treat his cancer. Then he had to have necrotic brain tissue removed (damaged by the radiation). He is struggling with his recovery, but we are all glad he is still with us and "cancer free". The house we are staying in has an elevator, a built in pool and a lot of other amenities - it should be a great time. The breezes from the Ocean really help with the heat (and A/C does too!). Sunny is going, and maybe Patch (Blackbeard used Okracoke as his home port!).

Jen, that sounds like a wonderful vacation! I hope that all of you get to go and have the best time ever, especially your Dad.

hehe, it's winter here lol but I love reading about your summers over there. It's get so super hot here like 104 so we don't really go anywhere we chain our selves to the air con. I do however live a block away from the beach so when it's a little cooler at night we walk down the beach for a swim. as for my plan for the next few months, two of my little people have birthdays in winter so I have parties to plan and my husband and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary on the 21st and we'll be going away for the weekend kids freeeeeee I plan on drinking alot of coffee and tea, making the five quilts I have on order and meeting my three best friends babies <3 awwww
