I got three more Mini Lalaloopsies to add to my small collection of minis today. One was Pillow Featherbed. As soon as I got her out of her package, I tried to move her legs and her left leg FELL OFF. I decided it couldn't be fixed, but I had some super-glue. I decided to glue it into a sitting position. I moved her right leg to see whether I could place her permanently into a sitting position where she would be well-balanced, and her RIGHT LEG FELL OFF, TOO. Apparently, I'm a clumsy gorilla. She's now permanently disabled. I had to glue both her legs on into a frozen sitting position. She kept a smile on her face the whole time. She looks happy, but ... I think she might be secretly plotting my downfall, now. I haven't had this problem with any of the other minis. Anyway, she's still adorable. These pictures were taken AFTER the double accident and gluing. I think she's just happy that the surgery is over.

Oh no! I haven't had any problems with my mini Pillow. Her legs are different than any other of the minis in that they are similar to a normal dolls legs in the way they are jointed. I'm glad you thought of a way to glue them on, but maybe the store would have taken it as a return? They really shouldn't have come off like that. If I were you, I'd contact MGA Entertainment and tell them what happened. Maybe they can suggest something or send you a new one. You never know until you ask.

Yup. That's exactly how mine lost her legs. One of them snapped off the moment I took her out of her box, and the other one a few hours later. I've already glued them, so I won't ask for an exchange. To tell the truth, I didn't want to be bothered to have to exchange the doll since she was only $6 USD. I guess I'm lazy. LOL! I do like her a lot, even despite her leg issue. I've gotten very fond of all my minis in a very short time.
I bought a bunch of the minis this week. I really needed the small dose of happiness, since I was depressed this week. It was my father's 70th birthday this Tuesday, and he died two years ago. I actually went and bought three of the mini Lalas on his birthday. I guess I just needed some shopping therapy, and their happy little faces made me smile.

Awww, yes ... lalas are very good at lifting people's spirits. Don't worry about Pillow ... just give her some good Bedtime Stories to read and a cup of tea, and I'm sure she'll be quite happy to stay sitting.
