Hello, I would love to start sewing clothes for my Lalaloopsy dolls but have no idea where to start. I don't know how to sew Can anyone point me in the right direction on where/how to start? Thank you in advance!

I took sewing lessons at my local craft store last year. It's good to get some lessons where you can learn from someone with experience. You might even be able to find a sewer who has a background with doll clothes! I'd check around in your area. ^__^

There should be tons of videos online that can help you.
If you are adventurous I suggest learning a whip-stitch and you can pretty much make anything.
Then just go for it!
I would suggest starting with stretchy material so that the pattern doesn't have to be perfect to fit the doll. Start with a sock!
You can lay your Loopsy down and draw around her body, adding an extra 1/2inch or so at the edges (better to make it too big than too small).
You can grab a bottle of Fabri-tac and glue on velcro, trimmings, or buttons.
I think the important thing is to have fun and don't expect a perfect outfit, it will get better with practice.
Hope some of that made sense, lol.

would it be possible to hand sew the outfits? Or is that just crazy? My husband pawned my sewing machine since I never used it.

I can't see why you couldn't hand sew them, it would take alittle longer but if anything, they would probably be a bit better made because of the extra time.

I used to hand sew, but my glue gun is just SO much faster!

I still haven't started trying yet. I'm waiting for my sister to send some fabric scraps to me. Pretty excited though. I love the creations you ladies make!
