what paint should I use if I want to customize the lalaloopsy dolls? I've seen so many with other color hair, thought it sould be fun to try it. But I want to know what paint is best and won't "run" or look dull? thanks..................Lise

I have customized vinyl My Little Ponies and the community trusts acrylic paints. You can find a wall of them at craft stores like Michael's. My experience is that the 3.00 per bottle paints have a better consistency than the cheapy 99cent bottles. Folkart is a common brand.
Acrylics are water soluble so you will want to seal the paint. Many people suggest Mod Podge, but it can be water soluble as well so I prefer Testors Dullcote.
Testors Dullcote can be found in the model-making section and it's a spray that dries completely clear. You can't even tell it's there. Of course you can buy the equivalent in "glossy" as well.
Now of course I will say that I haven't customized a Loopsy myself yet, but this is exactly what I will be doing because it works perfectly on My Little Ponies which are made of the same material.

I've customized hundreds of action figures, and acrylic craft paints are what I always use.
