Hi! I'm Bama. I am blessed to be happily married to my best friend. We have a beautiful daughter and a granddaughter. They are our world! I have been collecting teddy bears for a very long time. I didn't start collecting dolls until after my granddaughter was born. I was buying dolls for her and realized how wonderful they are. It wasn't long before I was buying for myself! My collection isn't very large, but contains some dolls I love. My newest love is the LaLaLoopsy Bitty Buttons dolls. I was hooked from the moment I first saw them! They make me feel happy and put a smile on my face. I hope to eventually collect all of them. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

I'm Diana, and I collect My Little Ponies and other assorted dolls- the ones that strike my fancy, not really any specific ones. I'm fascinated by the little animals that come with the Lalaloopsy dolls, so I'm seeing where that leads! I'm sure it will lead to my ponies having adorable new friends, and hopefully I'll make some new ones on the way, too!

shoppinmel - your Lala quilt is just adorable! As is the little bed. What kind of bed it that? I'm very impressed with your sewing.
I'm a married, mom of 2 boys - 18 and 13. I have other dolls, most of them with ties to stories (like AG historicals, characters from lit, etc.)

Greetings, all! I'm Kath. I'm a seventeen-year-old student, artist, and writer fascinated with the nature of the young and young-at-heart, and this is almost always reflected in my love for dolls, stuffed animals, and other memorable toys. I'm a complete Build-a-Bear Workshop enthusiast (my plush bunny companion Emmi Jade has her own blog at parsnipmuses.blogspot.com/), I'm learning my way around the Strawberry Shortcake fandom, and I'm gradually rebuilding my collection of beloved toys from my own childhood, particularly Tomy's Tea Bunnies and Fisher-Price's Hideaway Hollow. Along with the Monster High plush dolls (in all honesty, I could care less about the vinyl dolls - give me something I can hug!), the LaLaLoopsy collection has definitely caught my eye over all the 2010 holiday toys. I just love how the buttons and bows are played up, and the outfits (not to mention MGA's adorable explanation of their "origins") are too cute for words! I look forward to seeing the line prosper and bring about new characters and playsets. I plan to start my collection with a Bea (as homage to my own middle-school years in the spelling bees) and a Peanut (to be rechristened Della, after the protagonist of one of my favorite short stories). I'm in the process of setting up a blog at folksiness.blogspot.com/, where I'll post about my personal life as it relates to toys, shows, and other media. There'll definitely be some LLL content there in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! I'm thrilled to be here and can't wait to start chatting with all of you.

Welcome Dawn! We're glad to have you! I have my daughter's original My Child doll. It was her favortie doll, but she refuses to take her home with her. So she lives with me. I agree about the LaLa dolls! I normally collect historical or period specific dolls, so collecting these are way out in left field for me, but I love them.

Hello all! Thanks for inviting me over, Bama! I'm Melinda, now SAHM to 3, a daughter that's 7 and 2 tween/teen aged boys. Fun times at my house! My daughter is in love with lalaloopsies. She wanted all of them for her birthday this fall and received 4. I have 2 held back for Christmas. *I* adore them, too. They are just precious! (my favorite is Mittens so far, as is my DD's...although she really really wants Spot Splatter Splash and that one is eluding me!) Anyhoo, looking forward to talking with you all, ooh and LOVE the mini lala photos and info, too. They look precious!

Hi, I'm Wendy. I was told about this board by Kath. I run a Strawberry Shortcake board called Strawberry's For Everyone, because really Strawberry is for everyone! LOL I'm from WI and I mainly collect Strawberry Shortcake, but have various other dolls that strike my fancy. Most recently that is Lala Loopsy. I have Pillow and Spot thus far.
I have a small business customizing dolls and will try my hand with a Lala doll on of these days.

Hi all! My 6-year-old daughter and I are big Lalaloopsy fans. So far, she has Dot, Mittens and Jewel. She hopes to get Splashy next. My favorite is Pillow! I've been a huge fan of the Little Miss No Name doll since I was about my daughter's age, and something about the Lalaloopsy dolls draws me to them in the same kinda way ... though they are definitely much happier! LOL I also love Blythe. Anyway ... I'm glad to be here. We are "BananasMom" on YouTube, "BananasMom35" on flikr, and "LittleMissNoNam" on Twitter. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome! My granddaughter is six and is my partner in crime when it comes to dolls. She loves the LaLas as much as I do. I normally collect dolls with Historical characters, but these happy dolls always puts a smile on my face! I have admired the Little Miss No name dolls, but could never manage to get one. I think they are quite unique and its no wonder that so many want them. And Blythe, well I thought that one day I might have one, but they are beyond my pocketbook to say the least! LOL! Please feel free to share photos of your collections with us. I'll add a special area for them. I think most of us do have other dolls & collectibles.
