Please note: Check my latest post in this thread for my newest photo of the three Lala pets I picked up!I've been trying to find the perfect Lalaloopsy doll for myself for a long time now, so I was ecstatic to see Blossom Flowerpot online a few months ago. I liked that her brown skin matched my own skin tone, and her delicious pink hair was to die for. Her prices were sky high back then because she wasn't officially released-- I'm so glad I waited! I found Blossom at Target just this weekend. Picking her out in person made the experience extra special. ^__^ I'd like to introduce Pocky. I've named her Pocky because her pretty pink hair and light brown skin remind me of strawberry and chocolate Pocky. ^^ She runs an adorable little stand in Lalaloopsy Land that sells specialty bubble tea and other goodies like Neapolitan cookies and cupcakes. Pocky has made sweetness a lifestyle. ^__~ Introducing Pocky by Happily Candied, on Flickr I've been a doll photographer for about seven years now. Taking photos of a Lala for the first time in a standing up position was quite the experience because of the floppy body, but the challenge was fun for sure! More of my photography can be see in my Flickr stream: www.flickr.com/photos/happilycandied/

Thank you! All my dollies have taken on very sweet and dessert-like personas, which is what inspired Pocky's outfit. ^____^ I'm glad my photos can reflect that!

paloma - Thank you so much! I was happy to find that a few of my Blythe doll dresses fit the Lala body. The fit isn't perfect, but it looks great from the front. ^^
Bama - You're so sweet, thank you! <3 Delicious is what I aim for so I feel my mission is complete. ^o^

As soon as I deboxed Pocky, I knew that I wanted to customize her in some way. It was important for me to make her stand out; with Lalaloopsy being so popular these days (they're everywhere!), I needed something to make Pocky unique. I already loved most of her stock look, but I wanted to get away from the flower theme and move more towards a dessert theme. Pocky, Lightly Customized by Happily Candied, on Flickr I decided to remove her hair flowers and add on sweet treats, like cupcakes and macarons. I then applied velcro to the little stubs the flowers were attached to. Now I can remove and add as many cute little treats as I want! Currently, Pocky is sporting some super delicious goodies: a cream macaron and a pink cupcake. Some chocolate brown bows make up the backing. I picked up a bunch of desserts (in all different colors) while I was at a craft fair a few months ago. I knew I'd be able to use them for something fun. ^u^ Just in case I miss her original look in the future, I added some velcro to her flowers, too. Easy peasy!

Ahh, thank you everyone! I'm so happy you all like Pocky's new look. I can't wait to find more cute little decorates to make into hair accessories for her.
Bama - Hahaha, I love that idea! Whenever I see her now, I'll think "Delicious Pocky" right away. =D
inkiemama - I hope you get a Blossom soon! She really is an incredibly sweet doll. And I have to agree with you-- the freckles really do add to the cute candy look.

How adorable!! ;D
I just love Pocky's new hair accessories and I know my daughter will, too. Can't wait to show her this new pic. While she loves all her Lalaloopsies, I think Blossom is secretly her favorite.

I got my very first mini Lalaloopsy the other day. I had a difficult time choosing which one I wanted since they're all so cute... but I ended up going with Pillow Featherbed. Pillow's name is Thing 1 after Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat. When Shawn (my fiance) and I first saw Pillow at the store, he said she reminded him of Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the story. I'll eventually get another Pillow to be Thing 2. ^___~ Pocky &Thing 1 by Happily Candied, on Flickr I love how small the minis are compared to the big Lalas. I'll be able to get all of them eventually because they're so easy to store and display!

Very cute! I love the minis too for the same reasons! Pillow is the only mini with posable legs like regular dolls. The rest have the floppy legs. Pillow that comes with the playset does have floppy legs though.

I love the new pic of Pocky with her Pillow dolly! Our Blossom has a Pillow dolly too, that we customized a bit.
Question - Are Pocky's leg stripes repainted pink or is she wearing tights?

Yeah, I noticed that! I like that she can stand up easily. I really like the floppiness of the other minis though so I can't wait to get more. The minis are totally addictive! Fortunately they are affordable enough to buy as many as you want! I can't wait until mini Blossom and mini Tippy come out

Pocky is wearing a pair of pink and white striped stockings. ^__^ They belong to my Blythe dolls but fit the Lala legs pretty well. (I'm hoping they won't be too stretched out when I take them off!) summersmama - The minis' prices really are great! Unlike when I buy a Blythe doll, I don't feel guilty making an extra Lala purchase here and there.
