Hello there! My name is Tony, and I'm a 30 year old man.Ive been an avid toy collector for a few years, specifically Mattel's Mighty Max toy line.My wife-to-be Katie, wanted to collect something, but Polly Pockets(female Mighty Max toys), were not doing it.Then she found some mini Lalaloopsy, and Lala-oopsies at Wal-Mart.She was hooked, and I found myself admittedly liking the whole concept of the line.Once we started researching them, and seeing how many they were, I was hooked as well.I am an avid Ebayer, maybe more so than I should be, so I started buying them up.We now have well over 65 in the package mini dolls, just about taking up half of my previously masculine toy room.I have to say that there smiling little faces are a welcome addition, and I'm officially a huge fan. This site is amazingly helpful, and I'm very glad to have found it.

Welcome to the group, and it's great to hear that you've found the site to be helpful so far. Collecting the minis is definitely a lot of fun ... and yes, there's no shortage of them out there to collect as I'm sure you're finding out. Glad to hear the Lalas are fitting in well with all the "boy toys" in your toy room lol I can just imagine it. You just can't help but smile when you see all those sweet little faces among your toys, I'm sure! Let us know if you have any questions. Glad to have you with us!

I have a 3 year old daughter..I always thought Lalas were cute but just got obsessed by them. I really love the big dolls mainly...I say I am collecting them for my daughter but we all know who I am collecting them for I am a 37 yr old school teacher with one daughter. I also collect Blythe dolls, sea wees, and strawberry shortcake but my main collection right now is Blythe dolls. I live in Florida and am on flickr with the same username.

Hi puffypoogle Welcome to the group! You're definitely not alone ... you'll meet lots of moms here who collect Lalas "for their daughters" (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) ... myself included! Glad you found us and I look forward to getting to know you here on the board, and to checking out your flickr photos, too. I love Blythe!

Welcome Tony! I know quite a few male doll/toy collectors! But you're perhaps the first Lala colletor I know!! Hello puffypoogle! I've collected Barbies "for my daughter" until she said: "Stop! I have enough and don't like the new releases!"...she had grown up!! Until she recently started collecting other dolls! Mini Lalas stated off as " I need a mini doll for my Blythe"... since then the Blythe collection has grown and grown...but Mini Lalas are just like candy, one more can't harm! I've seen you Flickr and your lovely girls!

Hello everyone! My name is Amy, happily married to my high school sweetheart Steven and we have a daughter whose name is Gracelyn aka Gracie for short. Gracie and I started on this Loopsy adventure when she was just about to turn 3 years old. Her love of the Ferris Wheel in EVERY store we went to grew into a small little Loopsy Empire! haha BTW, IDK if Tags work or not but Snow, I just bought the Scraps Big. There is a facebook page dedicated to LOOPSYs called Lalaloopsy & Disney buy-sell. Everyone on there is very friendly and shares another passion for Lala Loopsy! =)

Hi, I'm Stephanie - mom to Claire who is soon to be 4. We discovered LaLaLoopsy last weekend when I couldn't take another minute of Disney Jr channel and that's when it began! So far, we have Tiny Might and (big) Spot Splatter Splash(?) is coming via Walmart.com. I'm interested to know how often you all buy for your girls? I tend to want a complete collection ASAP but I know I need to pace myself so that Claire doesn't lose interest and Hubby doesn't freak out!

Welcome Stephanie - I feel for ya! When we started collecting, it was a year after lala's were on the market, I bought every Lala available between Christmas and Jan/Feb. I was on a crazy mission to find all the dolls. Now, that was like 3 years ago so there are a LOT more dolls today. My suggestion would be to find the lalas that you like or your daughter likes and not worry so much about getting every single Lala.

aprilmom10 Hi Stephanie! It's great to see you over here, and I hope your daughter loves Spot Splatter Splash when she arrives! I think lalacr8zy gave a great suggestion ... just focus on getting the Lalas you guys like/want most first. You can always go back and work on completing your collection with the harder-to-find dolls later on, but for now keep it fun by hunting for the ones Claire really loves. When we first started collecting, there were 8 dolls, so "collect them all" didn't seem like such a big deal! Little did we know what we were getting into, right? LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome! Will definitely pace myself and follow Claire's lead. Have already warned hubs that we will need a shelving system. ?

Hello everyone!
I'm fairly new to Lalaloopsy dolls. So far I only have one doll- Mini Misty Mysterious. I'm not really planning on starting a big collection, but I'd really like to get some of the Little Lalaloopsies. I'd like to start with Matey Anchors, but he's difficult to find, especially in the UK. It would be a big help if someone could tell me where I could get one, or perhaps if you have one you no longer need, I might be able to convince my mum to let me buy it from you.
Thank you!

yumgry Welcome to the club! Sew happy to have you with us! Here in the US, recently we've seen Matey Anchors showing up at discount stores like TJ Maxx and Marshall's ... not sure if you have those stores where you are? But you might check out places like that, if so.

Oh, really? In the UK there's a store called TK Maxx. I'm fairly sure they're the same! I'll have to check there!
