Hey everyone, I'm Betty! I share my birthday with Feather And I'm a single mom of a 9 year old boy and an almost 4 year old girl. Since my daughter is at the young end of the spectrum, we got into Lalas first from her seeing commercials, then she was super pumped when the show came out and now we both love Lalaloopsy haha. I have also gotten my boyfriend's mom to fall in love with them. We aren't hardcore collectors, our dolls get played with and loved. Our collection is pretty small right now but we love it! My daughter is DYING for Dyna but she seems to be on the highly sought after list and haven't seen one in our price range yet. Our first doll was full size Scraps which we got for Christmas on Amazon for 14 bucks! (I was really discouraged cause little lady was begging for a Lala and I could only find them for $40 in local stores!) My daughter is still a bit young to care which ones she gets so we usually go for the great deal rather than a specific doll - though 3 of my favs we don't yet have are Charlotte, Pickles, and Peanut.
Right now our collection has Scraps, Scarlet (no pet), Cinder (no shoes), Haley, and Confetti (NIB in the closet for little lady's birthday!) full size dolls. We have Tiny Might also. We also have mini Peanut and Squirt, Rosy and Stumbles, Bea and Specs, and their pets and a random stray Scarlet with no pet (sweet eBay seller threw her in with our full size! We were stoked as my daughter's middle name is Scarlett!) My daughter also has the Pickles and Crumbs toddler comforter set with Pepper/PixE/Crumbs sheets and I recently snagged some Pix E pajamas and a Tippy/Jewel shorts outfit on eBay that are sure to be fun! (Maybe one of you sold them to me =p) Our Dollar Tree used to have Lala coloring books and paint with water books but between my boyfriend's mom and I, we've bought every one in the city and we have colored in all of them except a couple extras we put away for later haha. We also live in Kansas - thought it might be fun to note as it seems like there are a lot of active east/west coasters on this board and I'm right smack dab in the middle.
I apologize for the long winded post! That's my nature haha. Glad to have found this place!

Thanks! We also love superheroes here so of course she needs her own superhero. Walmart does price matching so we took our target ad there one day when Target had the littles on sale for $10 and found ONE Tiny and no other Littles! I tried to sneak her in the cart to save for later but it got BUSTED! Then the hunt for Dyna began! Haha!

Hello! I'm Shannon, and I'm brand new to the Lala brand. I'm 23 and an adult collector. I currently collect MH & EAH and have a combined collection of around 70 dolls. Then I happened to stumble upon Lalaloopsy! I don't have any of them yet, but I'm planning on picking up a large Scraps after work. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I cannot resist a doll who is shy like me! I've also recently gotten into photographing my dolls so expect to see some of that if I do end up picking up Scraps!

It's really cute! I was able to pick up Scraps and mini Tinny Ticker. I nearly danced in the aisle I was so happy to find Tinny. I've been eyeing her up for the longest time! I couldn't say no with my Target having a BOGO half off sale on toys.

Wow, all these years and I had no idea this place existed. I've been very casually collecting Lalas since they debuted. Unfortunately (for me, not for the new owners), I donated several right before I moved to Florida in May 2013, so I don't have too much left. I have a handful of minis, plus large Charlotte, Marina, Confetti and Mari. I want to get Rosebud eventually.
But the reason I found and joined this board is the Lalaloopsy Girls line. I absolutely love it and I'm looking forward to keeping up on news about it.

Hi everyone! My name is Yasmin and I've loved Lalas since not long after they came out! I have a few micros, a Coral Sea Shells traditional doll, and; Bunny, Nerd, Cowgirl, and Ballerina workshop sets. I really love the workshop dolls, since the crafty theme of lalas is what attracted me to them in the first place. I'm looking to sell my Coral for another workshop doll, and I've started making new accessories sets for them. I made a pirate hat, skirt and eye patch set yesterday.
Here in Australia Lalaloopsy dolls are more expensive, and a bit harder to find.

yizzimindi Hi Yasmin! Welcome to the group! Sew happy you've found us! It's great to meet someone who really loves the workshops dolls. My daughter likes them too, and they didn't seem to be as big of a hit as some of Lalaloopsy's other lines. We think they're really fun! Can't wait to see some of the stuff you've done with them. Hello, My name is Jen i am new to this forum. I am Blythe collector and indirectly a mini Lalaloopsy collector because of my daughter, Mazzy (7). She has been collecting the minis since the first series. Its the one set of toys she always comes back to. I love to hear her play in her little voices. Out of the countless toys she continues to play in her imaginary land with these little dolls. We have the house, the car the carnival. We have the ferris wheel and the bus and the doll house case. she especially loves the little sisters. so much joy from them...that is why we are here.
Aloha from Hawaii Jen and Mazzy

Hi, on the web I'm known as Harmatan. I'm a mother of three and an archaeologist. I fell in love with Lalaloopsy dolls a couple of years back, but it didn't start out that way. When I first saw Lalaloopsy dolls, my eldest was about two and I just hated them. I thought they were so ugly! One day at the thrift store, my husband found a brand new Pix E. Flutters, still in her box and got it for my then three year old daughter. I wasn't too thrilled. Upon opening the box, I was amazed at the quality of the doll and her clothing! Little by little, I started to like Lalaloopsy dolls and now I'm just obsessed . We don't have many dolls, each of my kids (now 5, 3 and 1) have two with only one bought at the store full price (Forest Evergreen for my son). Most of my dolls come from thrift stores and flea markets. Unfortunately, that means I don't have their pets, and Swirly Figure Eight dosn't have her skates. I haven't gotten anything but the big dolls yet... Oh and my favourite Lalaloopsy doll is Yuki Kimono. I'm glad to have found a place where I fit in.
