I am new to Lalaloopsy land as well - at first I didn't really care for them much, but when I saw the minis for the first time I began to appreciate their cuteness! Then I found out that there was a boy (I love boy dolls) and that he was a pirate. Patch is on his way!
I also collect American Girl dolls, and have a few Cabbage Patch Kids as well.

Welcome cupcake! There's really something magical about the LaLas. We have lots of converts here now. I like them all, but the minis are extra sweet. Have fun!

Hi. Im new to this forum and to Lalaloopsy in general. My name is Jasmine, I have an about to be 1 year old son named Drake. I am embarrassed to admit I think I am collecting Lalaloopsy dolls more for me then for Drake. It started when I heard about Patch on another forum I belong to. Even though Drake is a bit young for dolls I wanted to get it for him as I felt boy dolls were so rare to see. Well after weeks of trips to the Target looking for him and looking at all the other dolls while I was there I was finally able to find him. Needless to say I kind of fell in love with him and started looking online for more of them. I only have Patch currently but I am in love with 2 new ones I saw coming, the knight boy (for Drake of course) and the Mariner girl (I love nautical stuff) I think I might have to get them both, one for Drake (I love dragons as you might have guessed by my screen name and Drake's name) and the other for me. My husband is going to love this new obsession of mine Im sure. Nice to meet you all!

HI! My name is Shawnique and have a soon to be 5year old daughter. She is my miracle baby after 10 years of failed pregnancies so I'm quite wrapped around her finger. I'm not a collector but these lala dolls hooked me right away - their bright colors and big heads make me smile. My daughter likes them too, but is way more into My Little Ponies - but will play teaparty with me and the lala girls/boys whenever I ask I'm dabbling in trying to sell digital items to help me stay home with my daughter. The agreement with hubby was that I would go back to work when she starts school, but I desperatly want to be home to greet her from school and attend all her events. I'm hoping I can make enough from my etsy shop to do that My etsy shop is 99% lalaloopsy right now, but I plan on branching out to other party themes soon. Thanks for letting me share - I'm happy to be here

Hi! I just joined today! I'm a 31 year old housewife, no human children, just furbabies. I've been collecting dolls pretty much all my life. I've collected a few different types of dolls over the years but currently I collect Asian ball jointed dolls, Jenny (Japanese version of Barbie), Monster High and most recently, Lalaloopsy. I've known about Lalaloopsys since they were first marketed as Bitty Buttons. They did NOT appeal to me. Then a couple months ago I happened across Dot and it was love (go figure)! I had her and Mittens in their boxes on a shelf until yesterday. I read that they were really floppy just like a rag doll, so I took them out. Now I'm even MORE in love! I can't stop handling them. I also can't decide if Dot or Mittens is my favorite..... Because of space issues, I've restricted myself to the mini Lalaloopsys and the big Dot (my first Lala), Mittens, Crumbs (who I'm still looking for), Spot (who I'm still looking for), Marina and Sahara (who I'm still looking for). I really want them all though....

Welcome Skeekers! We all know how you feel! LOL! Except I fell for them the moment I saw them. I just thought they were the happiest dolls I have ever seen. All the while I was thinking that my granddaughter would love them, but honestly I wanted them! ;D Now we both have our own collections!

Hello all,
My name is Anna and I am a stay at home mother of three great kids- two boys and a little girl. I have been admiring Lalaloopy dolls since the first time I saw one right around the time they were released. My children surprised me with my first Loopsy, Blossom, for Mother's Day. They gave me several more dolls for my birthday last week. Needless to say, I am hopelessly hooked.
My daughter, age 7, is not a big fan of dolls in general, but even she has fallen head over heels in love with Lalaloopsy. We've just started collecting the minis together and we are having so much fun!
Thanks for providing such a great resource for Lalaloopsy lovers!

Welcome Moongazer/Anna! We are happy to have you here and hope the forum is helpful. It was started because there was no place specific to LaLaLoopsy and I felt we needed such a place to gather, chat & learn more. Please feel free to jump in anywhere.

Hello all! My name is Christine, and I recently have become obsessed with all things Lalaloopsy! I've been into dolls since I was a little girl (I'm 30 now), and have been a Blythe collector for the past few years. I guess my love of large-headed dolls like Blythe naturally lead me to the world of Lalas! So far I have 3 of the big girls- Silly Hair Crumbs Sugar Cookie, Pillow Featherbed, and Tippy Tumblelina + a slew of the minis. My holy grail of Lalas is Marina Anchors- I keep my fingers crossed I might find her in a store! I'm just happy to be here amongst other Lalaloopsy fans!

Welcome Christine! It is an obsession, isn't it? LOL!
I have always wanted a Blythe, but just never got one. Maybe one day. Some of them are so pretty, especially some of the custom dolls.
I just got Marina and love her! She is sew cute! Good luck finding her. Keep an eye out at walmart.com & littletykes.com.
